In fact, it’s pretty quick & easy with this method. Here’s what we do: Soaking your corms- this is essential. They need rehydrated. Into a mesh bag in a bucket of water for 4-5 hours. They will have doubled in size. No bubbler no dripping water. No fuss. Plop & set a timer so you don’t forget!! Once plumped up, we cut slices into plastic bags & add potting soil. I found not adding soil, they dry out. Then just dump in your corms. THAT IS IT. We store these in the barn. In a cool location. They are in crates with a towel over them to keep in moisture. In 2-3 weeks you’ll have perfectly pre sprouted ranunculus that are ready to plant! We will be planting ours end of November in an unheated tunnel & will be married to frost cloth on the coldest of days + nights. I don’t cover until sprouts emerge from the soil & I cover at 28-30F or below. They do like cold, but not too cold. Drop any ranunculus questions below! | Bokenkotter Blooms | Facebooktitle. Don’t use tags like “result,” “for SEO,” or “2,000 words.” Just write the text in English so I can copy it directly into a post.
